Well, it's hot outside as the nation experiences record temperatures! I, for one, applaud her initiative! Your child is not only cute as a button, but brilliantly intelligent as well. :-)
My daughter did this two weeks ago! She gave herself a demi-mullet on one side. When I asked her why, she told me she was acting out the scene in Mulan where she cuts her hair!
Did I mention we were about to go out of town for a funeral? I had to trim it up and then hide the damage with barrettes and pony tails.
Last week she went for her first pro haircut, and the results are cute, but she looks so different!
I think this is a 3-year-old-girl rite of passage or something. A friend cut my hair at that age (I thought we were pretending, but she had real scissors.) My sister cut off her two pony tails at that age, my nieces have managed to hack at theirs, etc., etc.
She found some manicure scissors.
