Truly, It Is Listed.

After all the empty promises, the many procrastinations, the MONTHS of double mortgage payments that I will be in therapy over for years to come; our house, she is finally, really, truly listed. Please, especially if you are in central Arkansas, and in the market--go. Check her out. She's rather cute, priced right, and in a heck of a sweet spot. And I hear that the sellers, they are the salt of the earth. Good People. You can't go wrong.

(Note to mothers: scroll through and enlarge the pictures, and sob along with me at the darling "carousel room" that was my sweet baby daughter's very first room ever in her whole life, and that we're just leaving behind like cold, callous, unfeeling CLODS!! *SOB!* And then realize that in a few hours, I'll be taking that BABY to PRESCHOOL for the first time! **SOB!!**)

  4. belinda, i would buy that house in a New York minute if only i could. it's exactly right for my dream. i hate that someone else is going to have it, but i wish you every success in selling it, and fast. we did that awful 2 mortgage thing, too. it's a stone killer.

  5. If I could buy a house and property like that in this area for that money I'd do it in a New York minute. I'm so jealous -- you have excellent coupons *and* dirt cheap real estate. Maybe we should move south... Any good jobs for IT consultants where you are? (We artists can set up shop ANYWHERE.)

  6. Everyone just keep your fingers crossed. There has been one offer, but with a contingency that we couldn't afford to wait for.

  10. Here's to a quick sale, my friend.

I'd buy it, but the South has those damn fire ants. Sorry, can't take the risk.

  12. Good luck with the sale. I'm actually going to remark on the previous post in this message cause you already have a ton of messages in that blog.

I think that is freaking awesome about the coupons!! Now that I'm a student, i too have taken to clipping coupons...amazing how one can save.
Also, I'm not a Christian but I love Billy Graham, he is a kind gentle soul and truly to me, epitmizes, a spirtual man.

  15. *sigh* I am very depressed that your house + land + barn = about the same amount of money I paid for my townhouse with no land. Little more, little less but in the same ballpark.

    That's just not right.

BTW, thanks for the comment and links. *grin* Oh and I was mostly tongue in check about the "rhyming couplets" thing, since I had read some of your conversations before. But you guys ARE very articulate...and "Southern" has it's own poetry, even if it doesn't always rhyme and is sometimes about taking a dump at the Micky-D's and decapitated rats.

And about your religion post, have you seen this: Creation Museum.

  16. May I please retire in your very affordable state?

Land, barns, cute house, etc. I can't get over the price

    Sometimes SoCal makes me ill.

  17. It's hard to leave a house, Belinda, especially one with such memories within it. Of course having 2 mortgages is a pretty compelling reason to sell! Best of luck for a quick close!

  18. Okay, as a realtor, I can tell you that your house presents itself VERY WELL! I also subscribe to the same MLS as your realtor, so it will be fun to check on the progress of your sale from day to day!! I know it's tough to give up a house where memories live, but you'll be sooo glad when you're out from under that debt!

And thanks for checking out my blog!

Is there room for all my stuff there?
